Posted November 29, 200321 yr comment_58837 Hello all,Has anyone used the Too Intense weather-strip kit? It less than the other kits I have seen from MSA, VB etc. Is there a reason? Is there a higher quality set out of the various companies who offer them? Thanks,Ryan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9121-rubber-seal-kits/ Share on other sites

Others can tell you of problems getting their doors to close properly when using the kit made by Precision, which is the only company to my knowledge that still makes seals for 240/260/280Z's. That is what VB and MSA sell, I don't know what Troy at TIR is selling, but I'd suspect it's the same one from Precision. My $.02 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9121-rubber-seal-kits/#findComment-58838 Share on other sites
November 30, 200321 yr Author comment_58872 Thats kind of what I feared. Are there any Nissan Dealers that offer discounts to classicZclub members or any such club? Alot of the Toyota dealerships do that for the various Supra organizations. Thanks for the info,Ryan Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9121-rubber-seal-kits/#findComment-58872 Share on other sites

Courtesy Nissan in Richardson TX offers discounts to Z club members.HOWEVER, I'd contact Chloe at Midwest Z first as she seems to be able to beat the prices of the dealers on OEM parts prices, and gives excellent customer service. (She's also an advertiser on our site, and as such, she helps support our club) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9121-rubber-seal-kits/#findComment-58876 Share on other sites

November 30, 200321 yr comment_58950 I just finished installing most of the weather stripping in the Too Intense kit (didn't use windsheild or 1/4 windows yet). I have no complaints, sure made my car quiter and water tight as well. November 30, 200321 yr comment_58954 Just be aware that the "discount" at Courtesy, mysteriously disappears when you talk to them. It's happened to me and others.Call Chloe, she supports our site AND won't jack you around with silly bait and switch nonsense.2¢Enrique Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9121-rubber-seal-kits/#findComment-58954 Share on other sites
