August 14, 200519 yr comment_134149 Hi there, i thaught introducing myself to people shoud be in other place in this forum! :lick: I'm Mohamed, 24yrs old from bahrain and I live here, my first car was a 1988 BMW 320i, i have a strange bond with this car, since am a Z lover but i just couldnt sell that BMW after putting it for sale for 3 weks :stupid: I baught in the year 1999 a 1983 280ZX 2+2, it really worked perfectly! no problems at all! but it wasnt shiny that much, dashboard was cracked, but a lovable car for sure! i sold it for the purpose of studying, after 4 years of studying in Slovakia, I came back before 4 mounths, and baught my 1977 280Z which I'm having now.. i had some problems which that Sblake (stepehen) gave me a big help, also Mike and LanceM.. but this baby s a piecce of art! I adore it! I'm single "fortunatelly" (I hope my gf wont c this post but havin plans in future with me gorgious girl from Slovakia.. August 19, 200519 yr comment_134894 I'm new to this. This will be my first time posting any comment anywhere. The power of the Z can move mountains! My name is Bill, and I'm 43 with a wife, 2 daughters, a son, a son-in-law, 2 cats and a Papillon dog named Pierre that is my wife's trade for me working with my son and spending every extra cent on our 1975 280z 2+2. We resurrected this tired old Z into a really cool first car for my son who turns 16 in April, 2006. We've so far gone through the front and rear supension, brakes, front-end, rust removal, body work, body mods, paint, wheels, a lot of parts scavenging. To say the least this is a lot of fun and it gives me an opportunity to spend quality time with my son. Although he might say otherwise after being tongue-lashed after I bust my knuckles trying to remove some old stuck, rusty part from the car. We are currently putting the finishing touches on the exterior and will then move on to the interior, engine and exhaust system as our thin budget allows. I would definitely like to purchase another later model Z for my own daily driver when and if the right opportunity arises. We really enjoy this website and my son (kingdavid280) will be adding pics of our project soon to his gallery. Check it out when you get a chance._____________________________________________________________________To Z or not to Z. That is the question. I hope everything will run well with us and buy her a Z also Welcome, my youngest brother married a Slovakian girl that was studying here in the U.S. and she is very charming. Together they have a young son and daughter. We are about one-quarter Chech, so there are probably some close ties back in the "old country." I wish my 240Z was in half as good a shape as your car. These cars are truly "works of art." September 10, 200519 yr comment_137608 Well i think is my turn!!!! my name is Camilo and i was born and live in Bogotá -Colombia... i´m 29, single, and bought my 1980 ZX 2+2 just three months ago, and after a hard field work of two months i had the money to buy it.... well it´s still an expensive car here in Colombia ( 4500 US$ more or less)... i´m geologist of the National University of Colombia by the way... and this is not my first Datsun. Actually i grew up in the backseat of a 73 Datsun 260C coupe soft top from my Dad, a great and luxurious car..... that i owned for a year after my graduation from the school in 1993..... well have Datsun again and a z or zx was my dream and my dream came true, also the dream of my Dad and now he´s thinking about having another one, just like me... i hope we can do it....... February 6, 200619 yr comment_154850 Yep, I'll setp up too....37 yo, married, two young daughters, I am in Marketing/Product Management mostly in the Software and Technology space (some of my tech articles are published on the web). I own a 72 240Z, which I recently purchased 20 years after owning (and wrecking) a 76 280Z. I also own a 1966 Jaguar E-Type FHC (carmen red) and a 1967 Honda 305 CL/77 Scrambler (look it up, memorialized by the Beach Boys in "Little Honda").In the past I have owned mostly motorcycles, which is one of my many passions, owning 4 Harleys and a Kawasaki KZ. Just sold my most recent Sporster to purchase the Z (well worth it I might add).
