Are you serous? The answer is that most here appreciate the Z for it’s original lines. I personally put the wings in the same category of oversized car stereos and 4x4 with monster tires. Most wings out there are oversized for the cars and look silly. Also in general this is an older group and the wing thing is younger thing

I think it more fitting on a 4 door neon or civic that has cut the springs and has the glow neon on the wipers and wheels caps, and let not forget the stickers that improve your hp. I assotiate those wings with cars that are slow, and cars that have all of a look but no go, I would never do that to a z but its like everything its taste, I prfer the sleeper aspect of street cars , very clean nice cars that all you see is the rear of ROFL good luck

there's nothing but one layer of very thin metal on the hatch. If you mounted it as shown in your drawing, it might stay there for 5 minutes.... might or might not. I'm not betting on it

Probably also cuts his top speed and mileage by 10% or more.

I just finished reading Brock Yates book "Cannonball" about the "Cannonball Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dashes" which most everyone is familiar with. In Yates first dash across the US he had a wing added to the rear of the souped up Dodge Van they were driving. It cut their top speed by great amount and reduced their mileage to the point where they could never get more than 9 MPG.

I have been dying to write this all day but thought you guys would think me a snob or jerk or something.

Why don't we see wings on Z's? Because they don't belong there!

So what did you think of Yate's book, Carl? I liked how he had others tell about their experiences. Didn't you get the feeling that you had to be there to really appreciate what was going on?
