December 18, 200321 yr comment_61096 Have you tried Chloe at MidwestZ yet? If Andy doesn't have one, and Chloe can't get one... hmm, that ain't good.... cuz they should be able to get anything any of the other suppliers can get... MSA might be a long shot, since they might have a larger inventory and have on lying around..... December 18, 200321 yr comment_61115 You could shoot Chloe a PM now and get an answer even sooner... her username is: mwzOh, BTW, it rained cats and dogs all day then they turned into frozen poodles... I'll get out to check the parts car tomorrow... it's supposed to be rain and snow free for a day....:cross-eye Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9351-source-for-new-headlight-switch/#findComment-61115 Share on other sites
December 18, 200321 yr Author comment_61118 Good idea. Just sent her a PM.No huge hurry on the cover. I've got to get the lights working before I worry about cosmetics.Frozen puddles and snow? Guess I should stop complaining of day after day of rain.....Thanks again for all your help. I've had my Z for about 2 months now and this board has been a big help! December 18, 200321 yr Author comment_61205 Enrique, I could only find USED ones on e-bay. If you saw NEW ones could you post the links? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9351-source-for-new-headlight-switch/#findComment-61205 Share on other sites
December 19, 200321 yr comment_61240 Why noy just bypass the light connection totally with some toggle switches? You could even use lighted switches. I'm sure that way, they wouldn't get hot because they handle much more cirrent. You only need three wires, any way. I was considering doing this myself- moving them to the center somplace. December 19, 200321 yr comment_61241 Sorry you're right they were used. AFAIK, the only source for NEW parts ~might~ be Chloe or Motorsports. Not sure if V/B would have them. You might also give Troy at Too Intense Restoration a holler. Get ready for sticker shock though.Good LuckEnrique Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9351-source-for-new-headlight-switch/#findComment-61241 Share on other sites
December 19, 200321 yr Author comment_61256 Neither Chloe or Andy had one nor could find one. I'm going to try MSA and VB next. Then onto Too Intense. Please keep the leads for NEW switches coming!I got used one that I hope will work and get me by. I want to keep the car original and avoid putting in toggle switches or splicing in later model switch.Happy Holidays to you all!Mark Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9351-source-for-new-headlight-switch/#findComment-61256 Share on other sites
