"Bike-pusher's" articles in Classic & Motorcycle Mechanics magazine are very funny too.

Ebay needs a bit of this every now and then, I reckon. I've had some bad experiences with it recently. Its not just the bidders though; I've had some run-ins with some pretty stupid vendors too.:tapemouth

I tried selling stuff on ebay, just one item, and I dont think I'll do it again, for a new zippo lighter that I had lying around, you wouldnt have thought people could ask soo many stupid questions, starting at a dollar they cant expect much. Oh well no ebay for me for a while. Incidentally there is a datsun "expert" selling a fair few misdescribed bits on Ebay australia at the moment, so just be careful if you are going to buy a bit from him.

Then there are the people who bid just to see what happens. They've no intention of buying: they just bid to see the numbers change and their name on the screen. These are the sort of people who'd bang lumps of plutonium together because they've heard it makes a pretty spark. Ebay's infested with the sods.
