January 9, 200421 yr comment_63386 I recently bought a restored dash off ebay (restored by dashboard resto), and I kinda expected more quality than what I got. The surface seems kinda weird, I know it isn't supposed to match exactly but this one just looks stretched weird in some places, and there's a 'dent' between the middle gauges and tach. Oh well, I didn't pay full resto price so I'll take it. January 9, 200421 yr comment_63476 Beach, have you tried Midwestz.com? I have bought several things from Chloe and if it's not on her website email her. I thought about buying a restored dash but several people told me about them not being 100% satsified. January 9, 200421 yr comment_63479 Midwest Z is the place to go!I have not heard anything good about dashboard resto, but have not used them personally, just going off what I have heard which has been all bad. I have however, dealt with Chloe at midwest Z and was pleased!Have a great weekend!~Brian Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9359-dashboards/?&page=2#findComment-63479 Share on other sites

I'm happy with mine. I had thought about trying to find a NOS dash but my fear was that it would crack sooner or later even with proper protection. The fact is that the original design/materials is just plain bad. That's why almost everyone with a 240Z has cracks in their dash. January 9, 200421 yr comment_63526 I don't even want to know what a NOS dash would go for....ouch!:dead: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9359-dashboards/?&page=2#findComment-63526 Share on other sites
January 10, 200421 yr comment_63553 I must admit that I am glad that I went ahead and paid the money for a NOS dash. Although it's still sitting in the Nissan box in my garage, I think I made the right decision. My only problem with it is that it looks like a very dull black. I don't know if it's the material or if it needs a bottle of Armor All on it.
