December 29, 200321 yr comment_62239 Alan, if you're still monitoring posts on this topic: -sorry, I've no interest in those Watanabes, which remind me of a cinder pile in color and the shape of a fireplace log insert. Needless to say, apart from history buffs, I don't see much difference between those and standard Panasports. -Not to be a loony, then (I hope not, anyway!), I am supplying a link to HybridZ, where I put a post out about trying to find JDM Nissan 80's circa "star sport" wheels (or something!). If you could find it in your auspices to get them to the UK, I will pay for you to send a set just about all the way around the world to get them to me, near Boston, MA, a post-colonial peninsula of Massachusetts, USA, an even bigger neo-colonial colossus pushing their way of life onto the EEC and you moreso every day!!! Business is business, though, so please e mail me if you can be of any assistance (jjohart@comcast.net).ThanksJohn Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9366-watanabe-wheels/?&page=3#findComment-62239 Share on other sites

December 29, 200321 yr comment_62242 yuppie69: Check out this link: http://www.mdzclub.org/gallery/124/kirk280.html I think you might be able to locate those mesh style wheels if you look under Hayashi, Speed Star Racing (SSR), and it may be easier to find a set of Enkei 92 mesh wheels here in the 'states. I found an ad for a set of Epsilon 3 piece mesh wheels (16x7 and 16x8) on the Z Car Club of San Diego's website as well: http://www.zcsd.org/ (the link is bad) I have the fellows email if you're interested (he was asking $750.00 and he was including a set of lowering springs and struts) and this pic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9366-watanabe-wheels/?&page=3#findComment-62242 Share on other sites
December 29, 200321 yr comment_62244 ..hmm, sounds likely the Z owner in DC area ain't gonna part with his wheels. As far as the link not working, send me the e mail..SSR's look better than Enkei, but I'm looking for 16's (I know the JDM Z wheels only come in 14")ThanksJohn Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9366-watanabe-wheels/?&page=3#findComment-62244 Share on other sites

March 4, 200421 yr comment_71128 That looks great Guus. What size tires are those? I am very jealous by the way. Now there is a little watanabe club on the forum and I think there is only 4 of you with Z's that have Watanabes. Take care and make sure you have wheel locks. People might break into your garage. hehehehe. I guess not. -Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9366-watanabe-wheels/?&page=3#findComment-71128 Share on other sites

March 4, 200421 yr comment_71152 I don't care what colour you paint them, they look like radiator feet with rims attached! As a matter of fact, wasn't Kazumi Watanabe a 60's singer with the hit "Sukiyaki", who later died in a ANA 747 crash?LaterJohn-280ZXT=can't mess with mesh 16's!
