Just how rusty is the car? Would it need new frame rails and body panels or just a good sanding and painting? Do you have any pictures you could post online?

This 240Z is very rusty. Not something that could be easily fixed by sanding and painting. Frame rails are intact, but this car is offered for the value of the engine and drive train, which is excellent. The engine was rebuilt completely and runs very well. The rear end differential gears were replaced with a new differential (last one in the Datsun inventory in this gear ratio) and now runs very quiet.

Since posting my 240Z for sale, I've had five offers, all from buyers who are out of the USA but want to buy my car real bad. Someone who lives in the USA owes them a lot of money and will give me a cashiers check, collect the car, and I will send them back an international money order for the difference. I am not making this up! Five like this!

Of course I know that there are many fake cashiers checks. Art Rathjen

This is a well known scam. Don't fall for it. They will take your car and your money and be long gone before you can verify that their check was no good.

These people probably have no interest in the car. They just want your valid international money order. This is the old "Pigeon Drop" scam. Beware
