Posted December 22, 200321 yr comment_61628 First off I have searched and read as many posts as I can about cleaning the connectors on the turn signal switch but no answers to which I'm looking for. My right blinker works fine (lights up on dash/front signal light/back signal light) but my left blinker only works on the rear signal light. When the blinker is in the left position I can hear the flasher working but the light on the dash and the front signal light does not work (doesn't even come on solid). When I flip the hazard switch all of the lights work (and flash) on the dash, front signals, and back signals. Anybody have any clue? December 22, 200321 yr comment_61637 When I ahd that problem with my 72 240Z the only way I could cure the problem was to replace the turn signal switch. I tried cleaning it and it would work briefly, but when I replaced it it has worked perfectly for 3+ years now. It is not a cheap switch to buy. December 22, 200321 yr comment_61650 Check the connections to the Hazard Flasher switch. The wiring for the stop lamps, and turn signals gets fed through there before it goes to the turn signal stalk. If ALL the lights flash properly, then the connection to the bulb is ok, it's the connection that then feeds it to the turn signal stalk that is in question.2¢Enrique Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9425-blinker-works-well-sometimes/#findComment-61650 Share on other sites
