Our Women (or significant others)...

A small tribute to my girlfriend! She's always there for me and has always supported my love of Z's. I spend alot of time at work and commuting and she never complains when I work on my car. She listens to endless ramblings about Z-car wiring harnesses, tools and supplies... with a smile and not a frown. She calls me (when I can take calls :)) or sends me messages to tell me she's seen a nice Z I would like. And on top of all that... she loves me for who I am. Since it is the holiday season, I firmly believe that the greates gift of all (for me) isn't going to be chrome plated, powder coated, re-upholstered, or freshly painted. It's my girlfriend Sylvia (), whom a car could never replace!

I'm sure there are others on here who feel the same way (hopefully not about my GF!). Give a shout!

Happy Holidays!

Hey ZHadMan,

You're just a stones through away in Ontario. I use to live in Ontario up on Princeton Street. Anyways I know what you mean about your other half. Mine is my best friend. This Z we have now has been something that has brought us closer together. She reminds me that it is not mine but ours. We work on it together, spend money on it together, drive it together and talk about it together. She often works extra days for the money to pay for the racing. Just last night she reminded me to give her the gas cans so she can pick up some racing fuel on the way home from work in the morning. She is an ICU nurse at City of Hopy Hospital. I'm a lucky guy to have a partner that likes cars, racing, and Zs as much as I do.

Cheers!

I live near both of you Chino 240Z and ZHadMan. I'm in Fontana since 2000 but have lived in Pomona, Covina, West Covina, La Verne, and Upland. I was born in Portland, Oregon and moved to Los Angeles at age 5 and to the progression of cities mentioned above starting at age 10. I married Daisey in 1997. She is my second wife. Third if you count an anullment at age 19, I don't. I was 47 years old when I finally got it right! She is my support; for everything! We are on the same page. We have similar goals. As for birthdays, Christmas, etc., I need no material gifts because I have her. She is very supportive of my Datsun hobby even though she doesn't fully understand it. How could she, I'm not sure I do. She has willingly accompanied me to every Datsun/Nissan event I have attended since we've known each other. She even owned a Sentra whe I met her! I could go on and on about her but I am trying to keep it related to the gist of this thread. My wife is the reason I get enjoyment from the things I do. That includes owning the three Datsuns we own as well as the ones that have come and gone since we have known one another. And by the way she still drives a Sentra, only a newer one.

Damn love actually exist? ROFL

My Ex and mother of my two minnie me's also drove a sentra as her first car! Made our first baby in her baby!!!! Haha!!!

Anyway she to this day understands my need for Z's. When we were still together and things won't great(or good) I would have to give up the things that I wanted. Another Z, a new bike and on and on. But she always knew just about when I couldn't take not having a Z that was mine. She would run across a Z some where and then behind my back go and find out about them. Later she would say we had to go to this or that store around the Z(s) to see I I would notice them. Then depending on my critic of the car, would go back and try to work out a deal for what ever she had saved up secretly to get me a new Z! Damn. She loved driving in my Z's. Still does. Today out of now I needed to give her a ride to work and after on the way back with her I noticed A '71-72 I haddn't sen on a street I drive down a lot. Hum? Any way one day she will get one Shinny arse pearl whit 240Z('72) all her own! Just because she always loved them with me. Girls are cool, but girls that are into Z's are cooler!:devious:

I'd also like to extend a thanks to my Wife. She, at first, didn't like the fact of taking a car that didn't run and putting money into it. Now She is looking on the web, and buying me tools to fix it. I love her so huch, even more now that I'm not stateside.

 Here is to the supporters in our life!

What a bloody great idea. Wish i'd thought of it.

Now, so far, it's been all lovey dovey from you young studs so here's one for the oldies.

For more than 36 years my "she who must be obeyed" has been my crutch to lean on when I was down, the one who urged me to "have another go" if I didn't succeed, the extra pair of hands on a tough job-----wife, mother (to me at times), supporter, carer, nurse, offsider-------you name it. She even found "Precious" for me.

She might never have graced a centerfold but as far as I'm concerned she is a beautiful woman in the true sense of the word.

What a great idea to post pictures of our wives, girlfriends, and signifigant others! And, lucky for me, they just happen to be the same person. She is my third wife, and after all these years of trying, I finally got it right! I not only love her for the person she is, but for the person I have become since I have known her. We've been married for 7 1/2 years. Wish I had found her a lot sooner!
