Has anyone had expereance with this this company? I hear they are pretty good. The only thing I'd let them paint would be the racing manifold. In doing this, would it be overkill if I wrapped it in heatwrap also? Just something I was thinking about.:stupid:

I don't have any experience with Jet Hot, but many people swaer by the coatings they sell. "wrapping" should be unnecessary with a ceramic coating. On headers, the wrappings trap moisture and promote rust. That may not be an issue if you are refering to an intake manifold, but would be one if you are refering to an exhaust manifold.

Jet Hot = GOOD

Header Wrap = RUST

Not only does wrapping promote rust, in my opinion it looks like you have an ace bandage around your headers. I've seen a few hot rods with it done and man it looks stupid. :stupid:

Ok, Thanks guys. I think I'll steer clear of wrapping them.

My Z is wrapped and it works okay. If I get into removing the headers someday I will use Jet Hot again. The car is not a street car so it doesn't see any water, and the wrap does look bad.

I have Jet Hot coated hookers on my Formula Firebird and it works twice as good as the wrapped Z headers. It's amazing how much cooler they are with it! And yep, looks are great. If you email them or call them, they will send ya a short info video.
