I read where one person thought vintage racing was just cruising

around on the track. Well its a little more competetive than that.

Here is what happened to a local driver at a July 2002 vintage race.

Things can get real expensive quick. These have unibody like a Z car and are tough to repair.

Hmmm, interesting way to check the condition of the inner quarter. Good news, it looks to be in very good shape. Bad news, gonna need some touchup paint and a Band-aid.

Seriously, thanks for posting that up. Good reminder what "can" happen in any motorsport event. Vintage racing sounds like a lot of fun, but like you said, it can get real expensive real quick.
