February 27, 200223 yr Author comment_3460 Woah thanks a bunch !Those pictures are great, although I dont think I will be positioning the speakers on the doors like that...I've looked and there are strange wooden boards covering up the areas in front of the doors on the inside - could this have been where the speakers once were? March 3, 200223 yr comment_3556 I didn't want to cut my door either when I put speakers in so I made up panels and stuck them under the front of the seats. This worked great but the sound seemed a bit 'low' so I stuck tweeters in the lower corners of the windscreen. Now it sounds fine and I didn't have to cut anything!I can post pics if anyone is interested. March 10, 200223 yr comment_3795 OK here they are... The speakers under the seats... The tweeter stuck (with double sided tape) to the windscreen... The rear speakers (the panel is held in by the original luggage straps)... I reckon the sound from this set up is great and I didn't have to drill a single hole in my Z! Hope this helps Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/949-sound/?&page=2#findComment-3795 Share on other sites
March 11, 200223 yr Author comment_3810 Thanks !Although I'm not quite sure about the effectiveness of those speakers under the seats! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/949-sound/?&page=2#findComment-3810 Share on other sites
