Posted December 31, 200321 yr comment_62385 Anybody know if the 280ZX bucket's rails are compatable with the 240's? I Had my grubby little hands on a real nice parts car down at the local breakers. And I actually like the seats for my 240. Only the drivers had one small rip in the vinly. Put I was not sure if they would be a bolt in swap or would needs the rails swapped first. Or made up at the worst. Any one got any Facts on the matter? Thanx Frank.:devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9515-280zx-seats/ Share on other sites
December 31, 200321 yr comment_62436 All I can say for sure is that they are not a bolt in. I parted a ZX that I drove for a while and liked the seats for all of their adjustments and pulled them for my 240. I just did some quick measuring and all I can say is that they won't bolt right in, never got any further than that. January 5, 200421 yr Author comment_62792 Thanks Lance, next time I go to the bone yard i'll be armed with my measuring tape. Then I will see just what is going to really be involved. I also like them when I seen them at the breakers. Seats where in very great condition, except for ONE rip on drivers. Which was repairable. I hope the size fit as compared to stock 240 seats. $20 bones a seat is not too bad for updating the comfort level.:devious: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9515-280zx-seats/#findComment-62792 Share on other sites
