I received the CD Rom today and started installing. when I got to the "Click Here to Open the MicroFiche" point. When I clicked it prompted me to save the file "S30_1a.pdf" to disk. After saving, nothing else happened. I navigated to the file and opened it using Acrobat Reader 4.0, which worked OK, but there's no link to the CD. What am I doing wrong?

I searched the CD for the file "S30_1a.pdf" which I found, double clicked on and that got me to the microfiche. But I don't think that's the way it's supposed to work, right?

Instead of Clicking the "SAVE" button, just click on the "OPEN" button. That should work for you. At least it does for me.

If anyone knows of a different way to use the CD, let me know too.

Your experiencing a problem like that because .PDF files are no longer associated with Acrobat Reader. If you re-install Acrobat Reader you should eliminate this problem.

If you are still experiencing this problem, then click OPEN (as Carl suggested) and also choose "Always use this action when viewing files of this type"....

Windows isn't the easiest to use... I know..

Is this basicly just for 240's or is there 260 info on the CD as well?
