Does anyone know why Martini and Datsun both have the same logo? I first noticed this when watching Rally racing, since Martini sponsers some drivers and it recently caught my attention at work. I work at a restaurant, and the Martini bottle caught my eye since it had almost the same logo as my jacket. Is Martini a Japanese company(hence the red dot like the flag), or is it just a coincidence?

Here is the Datsun logo on my jacket.

I would guess Martini is an Italian company, but I could be wrong. Probably a case of the Datsun folks drinking too many Martini's at lunch before a board meeting to come up with a logo.
