C'mon Kmack, some of us know why you like Las Vegas:devious:

Same reason I never miss it..... Nikki Cox and Vanessa Marcil. Same reason I never miss JAG... Catherine Bell.....

As far as sitcoms go, one of the funniest in years was 8 Simple Rules, which, after the death of John Ritter will never be the same.

I'll watch the one with Belushi (According to Jim) in it once in a while, but, it gets old after a while....

Now, you wanna talk about some shows that make me want to use the TV as target practice?

How about:

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Joe Schmo, Fear Factor, Average Joe or whatever the hell it is... and any of these other so called "reality" shows that have nothing to do with reality unless you are living in Hollywood and have a 50K a year cocaine addiction........

One thing I'm still trying to figure out, the networks seem to be having fun playing repeats in the middle of the year. One week, you get a new show, then the following week will be a repeat of one of the shows from the beginning of the season, then the following week, you're back to a new show again.....

Actually, I have a thing for the Pit Boss, the one with the British accent, (something) Thomason, I can't remember her first name. But yes, Nikki Cox is pretty hot.

Hey there kmack,

I think we're really on the same wavelength here Ken. Maybe I'm just showing my age, but I'd much rather watch a documentary where I can learn something instead of watching a cast of Adults ??? acting out idiotic parts to an unbelievable script.

:stupid: :stupid:

For example, (Boy, am I gonna cop flack now), the extremely popular FRIENDS. :dead: :dead:

Now, I'm gonna RUN FOR COVER !!!!!!!!

:devious: :devious: :devious:

About the only things I watch on the boob tube are sports, news, and nature documentaries. Everything else is pretty much excrutiatingly boring for me. But I'm glad that the younger generation doesn't follow in our footsteps. The most boring torture they can imagine is listening to Rick Nelson, the Beatles, Stones, and Mammas and Poppas, or watching reruns of All in the Family, the Rifleman, or Bonanza. It would be like me trying to get stoked on flapper music, the big band stuff, or Spanky and the Gang. Just not happening. Here's cheers to change, whether we like it or not. It makes life way more interesting and gives us old farts something to be pissed off about. Long live Felix the Cat and little Anthony and the Imperials! WOW man!, Right on, 23 skidoo!ROFL

I'll agree here again, Rick.

My wife loves that show. I could care less. To me they're all a bunch of NYC puss...:tapemouth I mean wussies! I'll be glad when that show ends this year. And my wife wonders why I disappear into the garage during prime-time veiwing hours!

Watching people eating disgusting crap like maggots and rancid cheese for the hope of $50G's was fun, but now it's getting a little boring. Best show I saw on TV so far this week was the World Championship Poker Tournament.

TV shows just fill up the time in between commercials anyway. If your sitting in front of the TV your throwing away time. Read a book or play a game instead.

Now where the heck is the remote control? I wonder whats on channel 208 tonight?

TV today is awful, mind numbing junk. The reality shows are even worse. I enjoy a few shows on TLC or Discovery. But regular TV is for the 25 and under group. I guess I just don't get it anymore. I'm getting old and cranky.

well honestly except for history channel ,tlc and discovery most of it is crap , and for speedvision which was my favorite channel till a bunch of rich rednecks at fox decided to shove enough left turn only racing and reruns < as if watching them again made you feel anyless sick> in your face to make me stop watching now, I see speed racer is a wonderful addition to their great line up , UUH why not Speed buggy or something original , I loved it when it only Jet boat racing and Alain <british dude> giving us the lap by lap of anything but damn nascar  but who am I but a consumer

No offence but geez Americans can talk crap!:stupid:

I dont know how Americans can like Steve Erwin. God. Hes a dickhead! I haven't ever seen a person in Australia tourist or resident that looks/acts like him. He gives Aussies a real bad name. When I watch him on FOXTEL(cable TV)(coz he isnt on normal TV) I cant help but laugh... ROFL ROFL ROFL

Every counrty has their fair share of bad sitcoms so lets call it even!:classic:

Cheers

CRIKEY CHRIS, you're right. ROFLLOL .

I reckon he's a bloody fool. That's why I tried to give him to our septic mates. They like him so much,-- they can have him.

What's needed is SOMEONE of INTELIGENCE to educate our northern brethren at least to the point where they realise that kangaroos are not roaming free in the heart of Sydney and Aborigines stopped chucking spears and boomerangs at white men quite some time ago.

I tend to think that those that watch (need) the NASCAR coverage on Speed Channel are probably able to understand the Speed Racer reruns. Watching those who can drive around in circles (seemingly) endlessly appeals to me about as much as a root canal. Speed Racer is even less appealing. Twenty five or thirty laps around in a circle is about the best I can do and the WoO (World of Outlaws) is fun to watch and doesn't put me in nap mode. I really do appreciate Speed Channels coverage of FIA events and find no reason to find fault with the lack of a substitute cartoon. Evidently they figure we're all growed up and can survive without being subjected to the Cartoon Channel too.
