Do you know if these louvers are from a Z car? I've been told they look like they came off of a Z car, but I don't know. I thoght they were for a Mustang f Fastback, but there too long. I have a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 and they are about 8 inches too long for the back window.

At first glance, those are not factory. :disappoin Allthough, I'm not sure, but I will research it. I had a couple of Z cars with them, and they had pull pins (fingertip type), to completely remove them from the car(mounted at the basic 4 corners, but inset). I could be wrong, yet those look like they are for Toyota's. Of course there is the off chance that both cars were from the same area, that they had the same aftermarket brands installed.:classic:

My Louvers are dealer add-on's. There were/are no "factory" louvers for 240Z's. The ones on my car do have a funky "pull-pin" kind of latch at the bottom two corners.

No pins up top, just hinges.

FWIW, ther were no options available on 240Z's from the factory to my knowledge. True you could get a car with either an Auto or Manual trans, but everthing else was standard from Nissan.

Dealers added stuff to the car as "Factory Authorized" options, but they were sourced in the US from aftermarket manufacturers. Wheels, Stripe kits, A/C, Sun Roofs, and Louvers, etc.

That makes sense. Perhaps what I'm remembering, is a hinge up top, as a matter of fact, thats right! (brain fart)I used to clean the back glass and would lay the lovours(or how ever it's spelled), on the roof top:classic: :
