They have a photo of this arse, they can find out who he is, if hes stolen the car right out of a parking lot then Im sure hes done this more then once and has been caught.

They have a car to identify him with as well.

One thing I dont understand is how the hell did or why did they just let him go? Thats ****ed, they could have had the robber and car thief and attempted larcen right there.

Been heros LOL. I guess that 6.25 an hour isnt enough. Hope they give you something soon.

The guy who stole your beloved Z is now starting to surface. Criminals are to dumb to lay low. He will continue to try an attempt to cash your checks and he WILL be caught! I believe that your Z will be found and it will be returned to you. Keep the (Z) Faith. Your phone will ring with the good news my friend.

After a harrowing journey to a Police Station, then to an Impound yard (taxi's are expensive!), my car is now home for repairs.

It was found abandoned in a town, not to far from me and impounded. I had to bail her out for $176.00. The center console is in little pieces. All this for my $300.00 stereo? the ignition lock is thrashed, as the theif used a homemade knife the force the ignition lock. They left it in "On" position so the battery, and possibly the coil is burned.

I've managed to get the broken knife point out of the key switch but it's too thrashed to accept my key yet.

Got to go work on it now as I'm too excited to type!

Damn, 10 days and that's all they did to it? I'd have to say you got one lucky break there.....

Glad it's back where it belongs, but damned if I wouldn't be getting in someone's face if I had to pay to have my property returned to me..... Bad enough it was stolen in the first place, then to top it off they got cojones enough to charge you impound fees before they let you have it back?:finger:

That kinda crap just isn't right.....

So do they have finger prints do they have a lead do they know who this arse is so we can all go down to his house and kick his arse.

Wonderful news that you got your car back and that there really isnt all that much damage, I would definetly count my blessings.

That's excellent!!! I'm glad the Z only has minor damage, by that I mean, not dented up or for that matter wrecked. I just typed you this morning saying your car will be returned to you. (Now I'm saying I will win the lottery tonite, ha, ha, I wish).

No really, the power of all the positive hope by your friends on this site must have had something to do with the return of your yellow pride and joy.

What a great ending to such a terrible event. GLAD IT'S BACK!!

That's wonderful!!

I'd have to say you're fortunate that more damage wasn't done. It doesn't sound too bad in the grand scheme of things.

Did the criminal share your taste in music or did he leave any of your CD collection?
