How about fitting the internals of a combination lock into the standard clock and you have to dial the right combination to deactivate the poison arse needle.

Yeah its late and i'm really tired.

I Did see (on a TV show) an alarm system that gave the driver a massive electric shock, that temporarily paralises the theif, but doesnt kill them (unless they have a pacemaker i guess)

I think I'm gonna install a hidden "kill switch" which will deactivate or put a break in the distruibutor circuit. And to prevent the theif from finding it or bypassing it I will put a locking mechanism on my hood latch. If they can't get access to the engine chances are they won't be able to "hot wire" it.

You might even be able to hide the switch in plain sight, by putting a label with it that says, " cigar lighter" or something that someone wouldn't relate to anything that would start the engine. You might even couple it with an unlabeled switch so you have a kind of 'combination lock'. Of course, you don't tell people about it.

Some even think that it shouldn't be discussed online, because (a thief) might think that's what you are using, and try it on your car.
