Roll call for DFW members

I've been noticing that there are quite a few Dallas/Ft worth members on the board and thought it might be handy to just have everyone raise their hand. We could possibly do a cruise sometime or meet at one of ZCOT's.

I have a yellow 75 280 (see my gallery) and live in n. dallas/ carrollton. Would like to put a name/face with some of the Z's I see driving around.

Michael,

Have you heard about the "other" DFW club? It's called Cowtown Z Club

Might be worth looking into.

Btw guys, Any chance of making it down to our car show in March here in SA? March 20th. Make some plans to come down if you can. I'll be sending out flyers to the Texas clubs next week. It's listed in the events calendar right now.

Didn't see this thread until now

Yeah, I live in the Duncanville area. I have an orange 1972 240z, it's out of commission at the moment because of some cooling problems (you know something is wrong when you suddenly start overheating when it is 40 degrees farenheit out!). Currently waiting on a bunch of parts from MSA.

As for ZCOT, I haven't been out to one of their meetings yet, since they meet on the other side of Dallas from me, so it is a pretty good drive up there. I'm usually fairly busy with school except during the holidays.

currently I live in Charlotte NC, but will be relocating to the Dallas area this summer. I believe the family (ie wife) wants to move to the Plano area. I have a blue 77 280 ( there are a few pictures in my gallery) would definitely want to meet some folks once I am in the area. Always looking for helpful hints/suggestions on what to do to my toy.

currently as you can see from my pictures, I need a front quater panel, head light casing, and a new front bumper before I can realistically think about driving it on a regular basis.

the interior is decent, but obviously will be fixed up.

What I am most worried about is any unforeseen rust. Looking for suggestions as to how to check for the unseen problem.

I can say though that I drive it every weekend around the neighborhood, and everything works.

I've got a '72 240 HLS 305 3988....need to see if there is anyone doing restoration in the Dallas area...car needs new seats, mats, transmission hub covers (red vinyl), body n paint due hail, new dash.

Don't have alot of money for everything at one time....but would like to at least have someone take a look at it...that does restoration.

Only around 30K original miles on it....just not used alot before.

Would really appreciate hearing back from anyone with leads to sales@parisplus.com .....

Thank you

John H
