Just as a point of interest, I have always refered to those who are so unfortunate as to live down at the BOTTOM of Australia as either Mexicans or Aztecs.

Why dont u look on the Victorian/Tassie/NSW state websites? Or just do what I do when I go into Perth(the CBD) I just walk around 'till I get lost then catch a CAT bus (free buses that run around the CBD) back to the trainstation! Thats always fun! :stupid:

With a population of around 700 Yackandandah is located 288 km north-east of Melbourne via Beechworth and 28 km south-west of Wodonga. Fishing, goldpanning, gemstone fossicking, horseriding, bushwalking and four-wheel driving are all popular in the surrounding countryside.

You already live in a resort town...why would you want to leave?

It's strange for us yanks to think of "down there" as South for you because of the season difference...ie. we like to go South for the Winter.

Don't forget Precious. Or Contact the Tas Tourist Bureux.

They have a special Targa Holiday thingie where you can hire a boxster and follow the Targa Route.

Tassie in Autumn is magic!

Thanks for the advice fellas.

We'll be caravanning all the way, joining the Spirit of Tas in Sydney.

Today we received brochures, touring guides etc. for Tassy.

The boss didn't tell me to expect them in the mail.

No wonder I often refer to myself as a mushroom. Kept in the DARK and fed on bull s--t.

One thing that isn't mentioned in the brochures is when the Jack Russell Olimpics is held. We'd love to see that. We own TWO of the Jacks and would consider entering one in the races if I was sure that she'd run in a straight line.

Well that may seem nice as a holiday type place but it is probably pretty boring unless your into that kind of thing. Remember Its summer down here and a 30 degrese C days are common, no-one would want to be in a dead country town sifting mud tru a sive in 30 degrese!(86F)
