DAMN!

I am definatly interested! Where are you located in Texas? By any chance is the car able to drive and make it to Colorado? I would be glad to pay $900 cash in hand!

If you wouldn't mind could you send me an e-mail and tell me some details where you are loacted and when you could be available? We can discuss a deal by e-mail!

Thanks

PrOxLaMuS©,

The car is in San Antonio and is NOT in drivable contidion at this time so it will have to be trailered home. I was down at sparky's house last weekend and he's done a great job on the work up to this point but it is still a project car and needs more work. Will be one hell of a nice one when done though.

:stupid: :stupid: Sorry Michael. I just didn't read your question that way.

From what I know the wiring for the lights etc up front run through the cold air ducts to the passenger compartment. The engine wiring runs down along the under side of the block then up into the passenger compartment.

Sparky can provide better details about it. It was a fantastic looking job, the engine compartment looks SOOO clean!!

Hey gang,

Texasz is right on, the wiring harness loom was

taken off and the harness split into two. the

headlights, signals, horn and temperature run through the now

non-functional passenger fresh air duct. The ignition,

starter and alt all run from a new hole/grommet that I

placed in the trans tunnel about six inches forward of

the trans mount. The wipers run up into the cowl from the interior, and the brake light warning and washer control run inside the cabin and through an already existing hole were the choke cables go. All in all, three wires had to be cut and extended, its turned out to be easier than I thought.

The battery cables run through the same hole in the trans tunnel and then along the tunnel and under the seat. The battery is a odyssey PC680 dry cell thats only 3.5 tall while on its side and only weighs 15 pounds. I also built my own fuse box using the newer style ASO fuses. From start to finish I have about 23 hours in just the wiring harness. On my next car I will probably go a little further and hide the harness a little better, I’m not disappointed in the way it turned out, but I think with double the time and a little more cash, I could have made it near impossible to find. (P.S. my next car project will have to wait till I am out of school :finger: )

Right now I’m still using all my available time to work on the car, I will be putting the near final touches on the bodywork tomorrow and adding a fresh coat of primer. After that I’m going to re-install all the interior bits and hopefully it will look better for prospective buyers. We shall see.

thanks for the compliments, feel free to ask anymore questions, or stop on by and poke around.
