brakes giving me a headache

When I press the brakes in I hear air. The brakes are not working good at all. I try to stop and it just slowly stops. Even when Im not driving I still hear the air noise when I press the break.

I had to punch on the brake to avoid rear ending this arse who cut me off and now they are not working properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your Brake Booster has failed, or you have a vacuum leak in the hoses/check valve leading to the booster. See if you can track down the location of the leak. If it is th hoses or check valve, it will be a cheap and easy fix. If it is the booster, it won't be very cheap and will be less easy, though not too bad.
