thump240z Posted January 19, 2004 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2004 When I press the brakes in I hear air. The brakes are not working good at all. I try to stop and it just slowly stops. Even when Im not driving I still hear the air noise when I press the break. I had to punch on the brake to avoid rear ending this arse who cut me off and now they are not working properly. Bambikiller240 Posted January 19, 2004 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2004 Sounds like your Brake Booster has failed, or you have a vacuum leak in the hoses/check valve leading to the booster. See if you can track down the location of the leak. If it is th hoses or check valve, it will be a cheap and easy fix.
