From today's column by Jim Mateja in the Chicago Tribune:

DETROIT -- Words of wisdom from Carlos Ghosn, chief executive of Nissan and the man credited with bringing the Japanese automaker from outhouse to penthouse:

"No company wins forever, no company loses forever."

Obviously Ghosn hasn't had time to follow the World Series fortunes of the Chicago Cubs.

"No company is unbeatable," he continues. "You have to look at consumers not at your competition. The competition isn't going to give you any solutions. The company that wins is the one that has the fewer handicaps."

Obviously, he has heard of the Bears.

Well, don't send him to Los Angeles. No football team, we tend to keep quiet about the Dodgers of late, and the Angels, who we still can't figure out how or why the won the World Series in 2002 are actally in Anahiem! (Okay, I don't live in Los Angeles but I used to)
