January 26, 200421 yr comment_65936 Don't feel bad; we here in D.C. have been crippled by the sheer cold. I have a stack of car jobs to do and heated garage space is at a premium. With eight cars (7 Z's and one very old Celica) to look after it is getting ridiculous. All I am hoping for is to at least break into the 40's so that I can get some of these jobs done. Couple that with a "must do" trip to Daytona beach this weekend for the Rolex 24 and I don't think I will ever get done.Oh well. January 26, 200421 yr comment_65956 zrush,Basically they are the same body except for the headlights and taillights and a little duct on the rear 1/4 panel. The 69 has four headlights (two in the grille, two outside the grille), the taillights protrude and the rear 1/4 panel has a duct. The 70 has onlt two headlights (in the grille) taillights are re-sest .P.S. If I remember correctly, the 69 was the only year they put four headlights on a Mustang. January 26, 200421 yr comment_65961 Yes, I think you are correct on the '69 headlights. That is my favorite year Mustang. I always thought that made the car look mean. Thanks for the info 240ZX.:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9847-barret-jackson-auction-is-on/?&page=5#findComment-65961 Share on other sites
