Things have changed! It now looks like '72 and '73 ownership is higher than anyone else. But, it looks like we've got a LOT of members that own cars between '71 and '73.

71 z here , build date of feb 71 , thanxz to rtaylor for helping me pinpoint the date . Sadly yesterday was minus 6 Celsius and insurance expired at midnight last nite . Today she goes up on blocks and the under carriage starts resto till next spring .Oh well .

1972 240. In the past have had a 1973 and a 1971.

I got hooked in 1974, I got a wrecked 1973 240Z with only 5000 miles. I cut it in half and welded on the back half I got from a wrecking yard. Last spring I got a 72 240z for a parts car. And then after daily visits to Craigslist fot 5 months I found a 73z with very little rust, and a interior that looked almost new. I can't believe how much I enjoy working on my Z and doing upgrades as needed. My son was going to rebuild a 72 240z, but grad school got in the way. Now that Z is waiting for me to clean it up and move it on to a new Z addict
