Posted January 24, 200421 yr comment_65601 Hi guysfor the 240K people... do you know what's the max width of wheels I can fit on to my 240K coupe with no major modifications?I'm thinking of getting 18's with 40 or 45 series tyres and probably 225 - 235 wide. It comes up that the outer diametre is close to what I have right now which is 185/75/14 but not sure about the widthneed help guysthanks Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9869-max-width-you-can-fit-on-240k/ Share on other sites
January 24, 200421 yr comment_65602 Hey man,,I run 205/55-15's on all four feet on my K. The front are pretty close to touching the front struts or the spring perch at least and if she was low at the front she'd prolly rub the fender arch lip. The rears are probably 5-10mm from touching the rear quarter arch lip but because of the IRS it never rubs, obviously there's a bit more room inwards than at the front so you could have wider on the back with the right offset. The wheel size and offset figures from the Watanabe website are as follows;Recommended:F/R B 14-65 +14.5Both Front and Rear, B-type Wheel 14x6.5" w/ a +14.5 OffsetMaximum conformity:F/R F 8 15-65 +14.5 RSTBoth Front and Rear, Forged 8 type Wheel 15x6.5" w/ a 14.5 Offset2000GT-R due to the flares has different sizes again, but those are the numbers you're after ie. "without major modification". Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9869-max-width-you-can-fit-on-240k/#findComment-65602 Share on other sites
