January 27, 200421 yr comment_66111 Yes, I too was stoped in my tracks on that one. Very touching. I always kinda though Jesse was sort of an S.O.B., but he proved me wrong last night. January 27, 200421 yr comment_66113 There have been times when I've seen that childish look in his eyes that seem to say "Ya, lets see what happens if..."I've known guys like Jesse and they have been genuine, caring people committed to what they believe in. And they've been wild as hell too! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9904-monster-garage/?&page=2#findComment-66113 Share on other sites
January 27, 200421 yr comment_66114 Be prepared. You've been warned about "Pippa" They really don't show to much of him/her (thank God) but when they do, it's, well, it's, I really don't know what to say. January 27, 200421 yr comment_66122 I've always wondered what they do with their creations after the show? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9904-monster-garage/?&page=2#findComment-66122 Share on other sites
January 27, 200421 yr comment_66123 Some of them they keep around, cause I've seen them scavange parts and pieces to built other project cars when needed. Between American Chopper and Monster Garage, you are missing an amusing way to spend Monday evenings. Of course, you probably get more work done on your car than I do on Mondays. January 27, 200421 yr comment_66124 Originally posted by Ed I've always wondered what they do with their creations after the show? When the show first started they were taking some of the creations that weren't destroyed on tour. They were here at Universal Studios. Some he has given away. The one's that are trashed are sitting behind his shop. That's were he got the tranny for the boat-car. It was out of another car that they wrecked. January 27, 200421 yr Author comment_66126 My damn satellite went out about 30 minutes into the show. The guy with the wooden leg tatoo looked like a closet drag queen. So the tranny blew up? Did they ever put two seats in it? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9904-monster-garage/?&page=2#findComment-66126 Share on other sites
January 27, 200421 yr comment_66128 I never really noticed if they did. After they finished the car around 12am, on the final build nite, Jesse took the car out in the parking lot and did donuts. I forgot to look for 2 seats, but I'm sure he did. Of course he was the one to drive the car up against a jet boat that was next to him on the water. That's when the tranny blew. January 28, 200421 yr comment_66209 After he did the O's with the car/boat he put in the second seat in memory of a young monster garage fan who had passed away and dedicated that build to him. It was a nice touch to the show. -Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9904-monster-garage/?&page=2#findComment-66209 Share on other sites
January 28, 200421 yr comment_66216 Always have enjoyed watching monster garage and American chopper very impressed with the skills involved with both , always found Jesse James to be more of a real person than anyone on tv. The olde southern chopper was a joke , can't stand the kissing up to the camera < almos the way Paul Jr is on american chopper >. But anyway you look at it we are all watching and talking about it so the producers did their job well. Another fave is myth busters love the thought going in to what they do. Was kinda impressed that they kept Jesse James on tv after his arrest really. Really shows what makes that show tick.
