January 27, 200421 yr Author comment_66099 Answers my question. The buy selling it, on eBay, is not too clear on this sway bars application. He states that it is for a 240Z and that there is no drilling required. I didn't think that this sounded right based upon the past threads here.Thank you all.I was hoping to save a few bucks instead of buying the ST set with runs near $300 for front and rear but looks like I'll just have to bite the bullet when I get to that point in my Z and buy them new from them to insure I get the right ones. January 27, 200421 yr comment_66106 Originally posted by mperdue Thanks guys. Got any pics showing exactly how that hooks up? Does it just mount using hardware that's already? Michael The brackets in the picture that I attached are used to replace the stock brackets that support the rear of the A-arms. To me it is a simple install, of course I installed the one in my previous car when it was torn apart like your car , Michael. The bar I currently own is not installed so I don't have a pic of it installed. February 10, 200421 yr comment_67840 the bar needed if you use the factory mount that you show in the picture is from a vary early 260 ! This bar has different bends so the bar will clear the diff. . It mounts in front of the diff. The one that mounts in back of the diff is a after market part. I dont have a digital camera sorry. By the way all of the end links are the same . When you find a early 260 and get down and look at the bar from the side you will see right away the difference. I have a friend that I think is going to part out a 260 that has one . I will see what he says. Gary Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9915-rear-sway-bar/?&page=2#findComment-67840 Share on other sites

February 18, 200421 yr comment_68935 Does the MSA rear sway bar for a 72 240z mount to the diff or to the chassis? I am interested in getting front/rear and I want the rear to mount without drilling holesthanks in advance Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/9915-rear-sway-bar/?&page=2#findComment-68935 Share on other sites
