Alfadog Member October 4, 200420 yr comment_7191 Share this post Magazine shoot?? Lovely car (apart from the wheels it's totally sleeper-ish) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10597-static-240z-1jz-engined/#findComment-7191 Share on other sites
v12horse Member October 4, 200420 yr comment_7192 Share this post I saw and read about this car in a "Retro Cars" magazine article. I agree with Lachlan that it looks like a sleeper other than the wheels. EScanlon Member October 5, 200420 yr comment_7193 Share this post This a sleeper? Are you crazy? This car screams! The look is, admittedly subdued, but done very stylishly and provocative. The wheels, in my opinion accent the look of the car into the atmosphere. Although they are not as they seem, (trasnsparent black anodyze on the faces with bright chrome beveled edges) in this picture that is how they appear. The picture is an excellent calendar shot, and worth more than a simple magazine inclusion. Would like to see more of this car. moyest Member October 5, 200420 yr comment_7194 Share this post Wheels are too big IMHO. A true "sleeper" would have period (i.e. 1970's) wheels... or at least period diameters (e.g. 14" or 15"). Doesn't effect my overall rating for this car though! Immaculate!
