memory gap Member January 11, 200322 yr comment_597 Share this post at first i looked at the wheels and thought they looked too modern... then they suddenly grew on me in a couple of seconds and they seem to fit your (beautiful) silver (sky makes it look blueish i think) z perfectly Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/1061-71-240z-with-15x7-revolution-wheels-1-of-2/#findComment-597 Share on other sites
Royce Member January 17, 200322 yr comment_618 Share this post Thanks for the comments! I picked the wheels because I thought they were retro looking. Kinda like the 5 spoke wheels of the American muscle cars of the '70s. Also, I am partial to the deep dish look more than the modern FWD "flush to the outside edge" look. In the picture they look polished but the wheel centers are actually painted silver with a polished rim. mmagnus Member March 17, 200321 yr comment_1031 Share this post Royce, I love the look of those Revolution wheels. I agree, they do give a "retro look". Do you mind if I copy you for my Z? Let me know where you got them. Gav240z Member April 17, 200321 yr comment_1356 Share this post Royce I agree I'm a big fan of deep dish wheels not the fwd flush look. Gives it an old skool hot rod look very sexy indeed. Keep up the good work looking very nice. v12horse Member September 20, 200321 yr comment_2749 Share this post I am late on the compliment, but that is beautiful. I love the revolution rims. I did not know they came in 15''. It definately looks period correct. The wheels I am planning to get for my Z will definately have a dish. -Ben Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/1061-71-240z-with-15x7-revolution-wheels-1-of-2/#findComment-2749 Share on other sites
