HS30-H Member October 14, 200420 yr comment_7289 Share this post From September 1969. Engine was the G161W twin-cam 4cyl 1600cc ( 8 valve )similar to that used in the Isuzu R6 sports racers. They were raced by Isuzu with some success. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10711-umm/#findComment-7289 Share on other sites
Alfadog Member October 14, 200420 yr comment_7299 Share this post Alan's quick! In Australia we didn't get the GT-R, but we did get the tamer models (from 1964-69). Later replaced by the Gemini - I know which one I prefer! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10711-umm/#findComment-7299 Share on other sites
Murph Member October 15, 200420 yr comment_7302 Share this post Hell yeah. Love the looks of the Bellet. There's a VERY rusty 2 speed auto example sitting out the back at my mates place. If it hadn't rusted away so much I would have rescued the thing by now. The C110 Member October 15, 200420 yr comment_7303 Share this post Thanks Alan, Lachlan, a wealth of knowledge coming from everywhere! A neighbor of only a few streets away has one i think, and its not in an un-salvageable condition - it looks like one of those single-owner cars [that we all look out for], as the old man that drives it, im told, has been in it for years. The ancestor to the gemini!? What happened to the sinuous styling, id take the bellet any day... I was thinking about this situation, the other day, that australia is a damn lucky country. We were the only market in the world [as i believe - correct me..?] that recieved the s54 skyline, and one of the lucky ones that got the c110. It sounds like a similar case with the bellet, im interested to know if there are any others of significance? Cheers, Tom Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10711-umm/#findComment-7303 Share on other sites
