I think they did call them 'Civic' in the US, also.

Pre "Civic" in 71 and 72, the Civic title wasn't born yet.

I know where one is

Z600 or Z360.. 2 cylinder things with a cc relating to the name - they revved up to 9000rpm.. like a motorbike! I was going to buy one at one stage- I think they're awesome. Based on the same chassis and engine as the N360 IIRC?

P.S. the 350z didnt invent those door-handles........

I remember a girlfriend years ago who owned one of those and it seemed to spend more time in shop than on the road.

It was called the Honda Z even in the states! The first year Civic is a totally different and bigger car altogether I know as I have an ex-SCCA regional champ example myself...

You should post a picture of it Eric. I would love to see it.

There is one of these cars at the local Honda dealership. I will have to take pictures of it because it is in perfect conditon.
