The original air box forces air into it to cool the air so I've been told! I am considering the header jacket to put on the headers in order to have cooler air around. However, I have no problems running the car as it is. It is still L26 block but with E31 head and I believe a mild cam along with 3-2 headers and 2.5" exhaust. Once I find out the HP I will let you know.
