I can almost hear the FJ20DET Screaming!

I love the combination of 16" in the front and 19" in the rear... For those that unlike Victor haven't heard what this thing sounds like, do yourself a favor and find/borrow/buy a copy of the BestMotoring "Racing Skyline" VHS video! (Vol 54?)

The FJ20DET must be screaming somewhere else, and this car was fitted with the LZ20B engine.

LZ20B !?!? Really? just this car? I thought (for sure) that this model was FJ fitted. I was told, the FJ was developed for the racing program, and that's why they built the bottom end so robust. Did I get it wrong, Alan?

The R30 Skyline was indeed fitted with the FJ engines, but any similarity to the above car and a production R30 Skyline is purely cosmetic!

Its a 'Super Silhouette' series race car, built around a tube chassis and clothed in a body that simply resembles the Skyline. When it has its FRP body parts taken off it looks like a bedstead. A very fast bedstead.
