Alfadog Member November 2, 200420 yr comment_7530 Share this post A bloody mean KE at that! Not a fan of the looks personally - just looks a bit overdone! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10874-017/#findComment-7530 Share on other sites
Murph Member November 2, 200420 yr comment_7538 Share this post That's a TE27 (KE25 shape). Awesome little cars.....though that one is rather over done. They look great with just the standard wheel arch flares. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10874-017/#findComment-7538 Share on other sites

Gav240z Member November 4, 200420 yr comment_7576 Share this post Where did i get KE70 from then??? Actually come to think of it your right KE25 shape my mate had a KE55 so a earlier one would be the KE25. So what is the difference between a KE25 and a TE27? Is the TE27 the sports version with the flares and twin cam motor? I remember seeing a green one of these in a hot 4's mag it was Gremlin green with the flares bit more subtle and nicer shaped than these with a rotory in it. Man that would be an awesome car I've always had dreams of building something so out of this world Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10874-017/#findComment-7576 Share on other sites
Murph Member November 7, 200420 yr comment_7598 Share this post Gav: The KE25 is the local model, the TE27 is a jap only model. Same body shape. The one with the rotor in it was a KE20 (Mr Enforcer Engineering). That's the 2 door sedan shape, otherwise know and the peanut. The KE25 is the 2 door coupe, know as the mango. :-) KE20: http://1949car1985.piranho.de/werkbilder2001/toy-corolla-2.jpg http://www.onthenet.com.au/~paulp/corolla/creole.jpg KE25: http://www.toymods.org.au/Chris_Colley.jpg http://www.netwiz.net/~tcar/images/heuvinck.jpg The local KE2x corollas got the 3K, where as the jap TE27 Levin had the 2T-G, flares etc etc. TE27: http://www.funny-car.co.jp/imgs/te27_01.jpg http://www5f.biglobe.ne.jp/~d_loco_f/htmi.files/05_Janitor_room/Janitor_room/TE27-03.JPG http://www.sun-inet.or.jp/~skydog/alfa/mikawa/te27.jpg http://susanwp.hp.infoseek.co.jp/wp1/te27.jpg http://kazu-ta2.hp.infoseek.co.jp/03.ty.TE27.jpg http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/gallery/albums/album03/te27_pana.sized.jpg Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10874-017/#findComment-7598 Share on other sites
