Alfadog Member November 8, 200420 yr comment_7609 Share this post This is a 610 - 180B in Australia. The successor to the 510 (1600). In Japan I think they were still called the Bluebird. Kinda like a mini C110 hey? There's a silver one in my city, I'm keeping my eye on it... Gav240z Member November 9, 200420 yr comment_7613 Share this post Yeah i prefer these to the Maxima 200b coupe style. I think this would make a good rally car. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/10932-pic00026/#findComment-7613 Share on other sites
The C110 Member November 10, 200420 yr comment_7636 Share this post Ahhh god im stupid...Yeah i was considering buying a nice l20 powered 180b coupe in the quokka over the 240k for a while. By the way Gavin, many choose to rally this car with a fair bit of success, theyre light and nimble and if your mad you can squeeze an l24 into them! Gav240z Member November 10, 200420 yr comment_7641 Share this post Yes i imagine they would have some success, I was considering buying one for rallying because i couldnt rally a 240z it's just too rough for a classic like that im talking flat out through the forrest though. Since the 200B coupe in the states had an LD28 in it does that mean your allowed to race with an L6 in these in certain events?? I guess the main reason i would have used these though is you can get parts at any old wrecker still for these guys and they are the successor to the 510 which is always a good rally car. Mat Big Hat Member June 30, 200618 yr comment_12596 Share this post Fellas, this is Bluebird-U GT-X made from '74-'75 only for the JDM. Essentially a 610 with an elongated wheelbase to accept the L20 inline-6.
