This engine is out of a 1999 Nissan Cedric from Japan, (they also came out in a Gloria) they only come as an auto.

It has an alloy block, timing chain and constant variable transmission (CVT).

Rated at 206kw.

No I haven't driven a CVT yet, but I imagine that when you put your foot down it just goes, without the usual auto changes. Like ZOOOM.

Do you have any experience with them?

Hi Robert, my mother's Audi is CVT. You're right, it just goes BRRRRR!! Or in case of a VQ30DET, ZOOOOOOOM!! Doesn't sound like you're accelerating at all.
