Some emblem !!!! May show my ignorance but what does it signify !!!!! Better start reading about Scarabs !!!!!!!!! Love to see that at Z Fest in Orlando next year I will have my 71 there come hell or high water !!!!!

This is just my interpratation, since a scarab is a dung beatle. I think the image of the beatle rolling the turd, with outspread wings, signifies the car flys/goes like

sh!t.

In Egypt the Scarab is very sacred, and is a symbol for resurrection. They were worn as good luck charms. The winged scarab (as this one looks like!) was used at funerals to ensure a safe trip to the afterlife! Maybe this is Z-Heaven!?

The Scarab was the name chosen by Brian Morrow, the builder of Scarab Automobiles. "Datsun Reborn" was the motto, hence choosing the Scarab meant rebirth and resurrection. The emblem is made of nickel with gold overleaf (sp?).
