Wrong Brake Line Do Not USE

Did the lines come with two copper crush washers to use on each side of the banjo bolt?

Or was it a length issue?

It did come with the washers and they did not seal under pressure. Maybe the remaufacture calipers had imperfections, might not be square and flat. My brakes on the Toyata Camry uses that set up with no problems. Personally, I would just avoid using this setup all together. Adding a short new 'S' brake line is not that hard.
