nice collection man. I got a few guitar myself but nuthin reall worth tons. Ive got an Ibanez GAX70, Jasmine takemine electric accoustic, nice epiphone electric accoustic, a real old cort, crappy squire strat, Ibanez Artcore jazz guitar, Metallic baby blue epiphone les paul deluxe, and a really bad yamaha bass.

That is awesome. I love Gibson's. I used to play a lot, but since college, I have had little time. Plus, I only have time for school, family, girlfriend, and cars. I hope to play again. I have a 95' Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus (heritidge cherry sunburst), a 96' Gibson Les Paul Studio (wine red), and an 80's BC Rich with a EMG humbucker and floyd rose bridge.

The flying v is beautiful. My dream was always a Les Paul with a flame top and that is what I got. My guitar god was Slash, so you can see why I chose that guitar.

I have always been a Gibson fan too. Now; however, there are so many great guitar makers out there the choices are endless. Currently there is a guitar "Renisance" (I think I spelled that wrong) going on. For so long to get really good tone you had to buy a vintage guitar for big $. Now there are Luthiers out there making very close copies of the originals as far as structure and wood quality, the over all look might be slightly different to represent the builders image of the guitar but the tone is all there. They are still spendy but 8K for an Archtop instead of 100K is a steel, Gibson type guitars are anywhere from 1200-3500 or so while the original vintage models are up to 35K or more.

The Heritage Guitar Company (makers of the big 18" archtop in one of the pictures) is owned by former Gibson employees. When Gibson moved out of Kalimazoo Michigan in `85 to Nashville TN, the luthiers from the custome shop bought out the shop and all the tools and started "Heritage." They are (IMO) better than any thing Gibson currently makes and priced about 1/2 or more less. The person that made my guitar has been making them (archtops) since the late `50's and is now nearly 80. If you are ever in the market for a Gibson check out the Heritage equivalent, they are great guitars.

Since we love Japanese cars, what do you guys think of the Japanese Guitars?

Have you ever played an Orville guitar from japan? They were made under license by Gibson and they are real nice! You see their les pauls on ebay from japanalot. A music store in Spokane had a few for awhile. they had an early 60's re-issue SG in cream white that was to die for! I'm usually not a huge Gibson fan but this axe brought back memories of an SG I had in the seventies. It was awesome!

I got a acustic guitar, it is pretty nice I play it every once in a while. It is a Washburn really nice wood work.
