Thanks for the compliments, Vicky. I spend a bit of time there since one of my computers is right in the middle on the front wall between the tool boxes. It's just out of view in the pictures. Maybe I'll take a shot that shows it . There's also a parts washer, a drill press, 30 gallon compressor, a small mig welder, oxy/acetlyne rig, my air conditioning tools, a bench grinder, a microwave, a small refrigerator, my reference books, lots of small Z and 810 parts, a few parts for the truck, etc. There's a 2 ton chain hoist with a tilt/level attachment suspended from the main beam. You can just see the hooks and the chain in the picture of my truck. The garage layout was a large consideration when we went house hunting.

I have never seen anyone back their cars into their garage - what's the go?

Very organised btw, you could live in there!!

I started backing my cars into the garage two houses ago when I live in Upland, Ca. I was working on the truck at the time and the only place the engine hoist could be safely mounted was toward the front of the garage. It was easier that way rather than pushing the truck back to use the hoist and then pushing it back in the close the garage. I guess the habit just stuck with me after that.

nothing like a garage with the noses of cool cars looking like they are ready to go. I usually back mine in to make the exit smoother and to see that there is nothing in the drive. They are nose in when I have to work on the front end.
