240z

My friend and my lady......

The girl is my friend, *just friends* My zcar is still with me today (5 years), my friend.... she moved out of state to attend a Private University. I took this picture at church 2 years ago with a borrowed digital camera. The zcar is my first car, it took over a year to save for, with my minimum wage job. I used her to drive to work and school, in the mean time, I learned to work on cars, had my best and worst times with her and never plan on selling it! I love my Datsun 240z! This is my dream car!

I am in love with both!! Thanks for submitting the entry. Tell your friend that she is now famous on the Classic Zcar Club!

Good Shot!

Nice, cool, relaxed setting. Definitely a contender.

Good Looking Lady.

The car is excellent...as always. The Lady definitely draws your eye though.

Vary beautiful lady and car . A picture in good taste . The pictrure shows both vary well . I would have voted for this picture if it was dident have the other car in the shot . It detracts from the overall picture. It is unfortunate that because of the position it cannot be cropped out . For a magazine it could be air brushed away. I really like the naturalness of the picture . Gary

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions! I don't have photoshop so I can't take the truck out, I wanted to though! I sure hope I win! That would be so cool! Sorry, I am not mentioning names, unless I have to, I am protective of her privacy. Trust me, she gets enough trouble from the guys without me adding to it. She is a "good girl", stays out of trouble and I respect her for that choice!

Thanks again and I appriciate every vote (so does my friend)!

Your Z is georgeous, the pose is really nice with the panasport turned and your friend's head turned similarly, and the very nice paint quality; each effect is that of greater depth. It is too bad the background isn't so nice, but imagine the very same pose with a nice wooded background. I applaud your friend for her being a "nice girl." Again, proof that the really great things in life are worth keeping and worth waiting for. I've had a 70 Z in my garage awaiting restoration for 15 years, and my wife and I have been married for over 25. First car I personally owned when I was 18...a 1970 240Z...first girlfriend, the one I promised I would marry...my wife. We loved that first Z, so we can't wait until our first ride in this one. Good luck to you both. By the way, that first Z was nearly new when I was 18. Math doesn't lie. Next to all the other cool cars I've owned, the Z is the one I have loved most.

Wow...Beautiful, just natural and elegant.  Very good tactfull  taste.  Huh, the car is not bad either....LOL...

Hey, you should take some more pictures with some beautiful natural backgrounds.  That type of picture definetely could be in a magazine.  Use the same "Friend" in continuing your good taste with additional photos.  If the background was different, just sceenic, this would make a great large poster.

Also, had a question, your wheels look line Panasport, is that correct? If so i would appreciate it if you could give me an accurate size of the center caps.  I am looking to buy blank aftermarket chrome center caps but I dont know the exact size.  Thank you and keep up the good work....P.S.  All kidding aside, your Z-Car does looks great....

Dude,  sounds like you might have wanted to reverse the events, restored the car for over 25 years and married for 15 years...You would have had the best of both worlds...Just kidding, but now keep things in perspective....:   love the wife and restore the car...If needed, remind her how much she loved the car....LOL.  Good luck with an excellent project for both of you...Lots of memories to remember and create as the restoration progresses...Good luck.
