Panamared Member April 18, 200618 yr comment_12247 Share this post Hi ZSaint. Thank You for the input. The first time I saw this car was 20 years ago. Today the same person(owner); now my business partner. Call me to go to his place and then:) realized that I was in love. The same red Z car (what a shame) that I used to love (20 years ago) dustyrusty:mad: totally forgot. As simple as no car wash in 10 YEARS:cry: He´s very weird guy so I been asking him for the car for at least 4 months after that day HOW MUCH:angry:  , hehehehe. And he never said anything. One day he told me pick up the car but have to look for the key he said.......(Of course for $1400. The engine was only 31,900K. He never use to much the car after he bought it, but forgot her very fast because a lack of money and having a second car so that was the excuse; and as all we know what happen if a car is not store in the best place. Rusted everywhere. Two weeks later Haleluya the ignition key. Neccesary because of the place where the car was (no space for towing) and neccesary to turn the steering wheel to be able to pull the car..... 3 hours later the car was in my garage... Day 2 bought some cheap tires around $30 bucks just to be able to move the car the old ones were:knockedou .after more than a decade forgot:hurt: . Day 3 I start with the paint remover and sand paper to be clear with what I was dealing (lots of rust, as You can see it in the pictures posted). One week later she was at the body shop. Now I have 3 weeks without seeing her. Floor pans, under floor frame rails, firewall, dog legs, quarter panels, battery tray and rocker panels been fixed by that time. Turn lights holes and gas door are going to dissapear. I think the doors must be ready and also the rear of the car. (my friend is in the United States so Im waiting for him to go and visit her). The hatch is totally rusted so I NEED TO BUY ONE, also the radiator core support is in bad shape and of course need to buy new one or used. The other panels like fenders, hood are in good shape. Well its all I can say so gonna keep posting pictures. These cars are amazing. ThanK You. BTW I love the BLUE color You use to paint You car simply lovely. Panamared Member May 22, 200618 yr comment_12468 Share this post Hi Ed. Im trying to do my best. Of course I dont have the time to fix it myself. But the guy whos working on it is doing a fantastic job. Im not using the original floor pans, dog legs, etc, but he know´s what hes doing. Also my goal is to buy another one but this time a 280z my brother saw couple of weeks ago and also he said for a good price 2.5k to 2k is complete and running. So probably Im going to hit the race track soon. Man Your car is sooooo sweet, hope to reach my project to that level:love: Beautiful car.
