are these "minilitewheels" made in the preformance industries in adelaide australia??

No Damian, they are 16x7 Panasport, I think the Performance wheels have 10 spokes not 8, and only come in 15 inch.

What kind of tires are they; Do they ever rub?

How close are the tires to the springs?

The tyres are Falken 225/50x16, No thay dont rub and are about 8mm off the spring.

Love the tire/wheel set up, what size tires do you have up front? I've heard 205 is the largest you can go with out rubbing??
