I may soon replace my 72 Dizzy with a early zx to save $$ over the mallory...just wondering how it runs...i bet your spark is STRONG! GreenZZZ Member May 1, 200717 yr comment_13203 Share this post It didn't run any better initially. Then I upgraded the alternator then it started to idle and pull better and smoother. This car dyno'd at 105 HP before the alternator upgrade. Probably got another 5 or 10 HP just on a better electrical system. Thanks Zs-ondabrain for the cool alternator conversion connector... BTW - Century Performance and Amazon.com have these distributors for about $250.00 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/21273-mallory-distributor-and-coil/#findComment-13203 Share on other sites
