My old 240z had a huge hold that had also rusted it's way down the firewall and into the chassis rail. So that it would rot from the inside out. I had surface area rust on my old 260z like this and one afternoon took care of it. Helped me sleep at night . MikeW Member May 22, 200321 yr comment_1757 Share this post The shop that was doing the work actually went out and bought a sandblaster just for this. They blasted it to the bare metal and primed it. You're right, however, that I should do something about it before long. A proper POR15 application might be in order ... I'll upload another picture of how it looks now although the angle won't be the same since the engine is now in the way.
