Doehring Member April 7, 200321 yr comment_1203 Share this post Thanks for the compliments! The rims and the mirror are from a Bburago Jaguar E-Type, the tyres are custom made. I used a stripe of rubber that's ends I glued together with an "elastic" fast bending (seconds only) liquid glue. Gav240z Member July 31, 200321 yr comment_2311 Share this post Yeah I wanna put nice model wheels on my ZG model when it's finished. I think you have the same one ROLF. Need fat ones for the ZG with those huge guards Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/gallery/image/3399-my-supered-sun-118-z/#findComment-2311 Share on other sites
Doehring Member July 31, 200321 yr comment_2312 Share this post Gav, the stock wheels of that 1:12 ZG-model look awful. The rims of the Safari 1:12 version from the same model producer would be nicer but are separately not available. In winter (here it's still summer when you have winter) I will make rims and tires myself as I did to the 1:18 YatMing racing Z (see my gallery).
